With all the talk about the UC Davis study that ex With all the talk about the UC Davis study that exposed the fact that the avocado oil chips you have been purchasing likely contain other oils besides just avocado oil, you may be wondering what else may be contaminated 😅.

Mayonnaise is notoriously bad at the grocery store. Most store-bought mayo is just a giant tub of whipped seed oils 🤢. If you are able to find mayonnaise made with avocado oil, you may be wondering if it's even worth the extra money if it has undisclosed seed oils in it. Understandable!

My solution to this problem: homemade mayo! My mayo recipe does use avocado oil, but I would argue not ALL avocado oil is cut with seed oils. Similar to olive oil, cheap avocado oil may very well be rancid and not pure avocado oil. If you do a little bit of research and buy the best, you can be sure your food only has in it what it's supposed to.

While Greek yogurt and regular yogurt are both fer While Greek yogurt and regular yogurt are both fermented dairy products, Greek yogurt differs from regular yogurt in it’s taste, texture, and protein content.

Greek yogurt is usually thicker and has a bit more of a tangier taste than regular yogurt. This taste and texture difference is due to Greek yogurt having the whey strained from it.

Due to the straining process of removing the whey, Greek yogurt is much more dense than regular yogurt, which is why it has a higher protein content.
